FABMOVER

The FABMOVER from BEC Robotics is a cleanroom-certified AMR for semiconductor fabs that automates pod transport, cassette handling, and pod opening/closing. Based on KUKA's KMR iisy or iiwa, it reduces manual handling, minimizes contamination, and increases efficiency in high-volume production.

Every BEC project follows the same structured engineering process: concepts are validated before

anything is built, and systems are tested before they leave our workshop.

Consultation & Requirements Analysis

We start by analysing your production environment: cycle times, payload requirements, integration constraints, and where the automation has to fit. That work defines the right approach before any design begins.

Custom Solution Design

Our engineers develop the system concept end-to-end. That includes robot selection, gripper design, safety layout, and software architecture. Everything is validated in 3D simulation before hardware is ordered.

Build, Test & Validate

The full system is built and tested at our facility. A Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) confirms performance, safety compliance, and integration readiness before delivery.

On-site Integration & Training

We install and commission the system on your floor, integrate it with your existing production infrastructure, and train your team to run it day-to-day.

Ongoing Service & Support

BEC stays on after go-live. Maintenance, remote diagnostics, spare parts, and software updates are all available so the system keeps performing over its full operating life.

Here are some common questions about our company.

An AGV (Autonomous Guided Vehicle) follows fixed routes set by magnetic tracks or reflectors. An AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) navigates dynamically using onboard sensors and maps, adapting in real time to whatever is around it. BEC deploys both, depending on the facility.

Standard AGV systems can be operational within hours to a few days. Larger multi-vehicle fleets with full WMS or ERP integration usually take several weeks from site survey to go-live.

Yes. The FABMOVER is purpose-built for semiconductor cleanrooms and complies with SEMI E82 and E84 standards. Other BEC platforms can also be configured for various cleanroom classifications.

Yes. BEC integrates VDA5050-compatible fleet management software, including NAVITEC, SYNAOS and KUKA solutions. That allows multi-vendor AGV and AMR fleets to be coordinated by a single system, with ERP or WMS connectivity built in.

BEC platforms span payloads from 7 kg (KMR iiwa) up to 300 kg and beyond (MRP QUANTEC). For heavy loads above standard AMR capacity, our Mobile Robot Platform (MRP) uses a decoupled docking system to deliver stationary precision at high payloads.
