Mobile Manipulators & AMRs — KUKA KMR Series for Industrial Automation
Scalable from 15 kg cobots to 300 kg heavy-payload platforms
Product Range
BEC integrates and deploys the full KUKA KMR range: mobile manipulators that combine a robot arm with an autonomous mobile base. Four platform classes are available, so the right one depends on payload and application.

MRP
The Mobile Robot Platform: a decoupled system that moves an industrial robot between docking stations. It combines AGV flexibility with stationary-robot precision at payloads up to 300 kg.
AGV / AMR
Autonomous mobile platforms for internal transport. The range runs from compact workstation-linking AGVs through to heavy-load systems handling several tons.
Industrial Automation
Custom robot cells, gripper development, AI vision and factory automation, engineered to work alongside your AGV fleet.
Fabmover
The FABMOVER, a cleanroom AMR built for semiconductor fabs. It automates pod and cassette transport and speaks SEMI E82 and E84.
Frequently asked questions
Here are some common questions about our company.
A mobile manipulator is a robot arm mounted on an autonomous mobile base. Unlike a fixed robot cell, it can navigate independently around a facility and perform tasks at multiple locations. That suits flexible manufacturing environments, whether the work comes to the robot or the robot has to come to the work.
The KUKA KMR iiwa is available in cleanroom-compatible configurations. Whether a specific KMR is suitable depends on the ISO class and the application. Contact BEC for a detailed assessment of KMR cleanroom options for your environment.
Mecanum wheels have rollers set at 45 degrees around the wheel circumference. By controlling the direction and speed of each wheel independently, the robot can move in any direction (including sideways and diagonally) without turning first. The KMR iiwa uses Mecanum navigation, which makes it well suited to confined spaces and tight production areas.
The KMR CYBERTECH is a fully integrated mobile manipulator handling payloads up to 25 kg. It is the right pick for machine tending, SLC handling and brownfield automation at medium payload. The MRP is a decoupled system for heavy payloads (up to 300 kg) where stationary-robot precision is needed at each workstation. If your payload is over 25 kg, or production-grade positional accuracy is required, MRP is the right choice.
